Shark trips and courses

Sharks up close 2008 is a not-for-profit trip run at the famous SharkLab on Bimini in the Bahamas. This is a trip that gets you in the water with numerous species of sharks, you get the chance to learn about sharks from scientists Doc Gruber and Dean Grubbs as well as the other shark phD students at the Lab, you can improve your photography and video skills with John and myself. Proceeds go to the SharkLab and to the Sharktrust.

We started to become involved with shark courses starting with two Wildeye shark courses in 2006 and 2007 and now a not-for-profit 2008 trip in association with the Sharktrust.

Shark trips are an excellent way to get close encounters with sharks as, a chance to learn about shark biology, management and conservation, brush up your photography and video skills as well as having a really good time of it.

The previous years trips have gone extremely well and next year looks set to be even better!
